UPDATE ON UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS
Unemployment assistance opened up to include nearly every person who’s lost work, through no fault of their own, due to the coronavirus. 26 million people have applied as of April 23, 2020. Systems are not totally running efficiently. If you are denied benefits, find out how the appeal process works. Remember: you are eligible in most cases if you lost your job due to Covid-19 pandemic.
