Helping Your Vision Take Root: Fiscal Sponsorship

What is Fiscal Sponsorship?

Think of us as a "civic anchor" for your project. By partnering with ACF, your organization can operate under our 501(c)(3) umbrella. This allows you to:

  • Accept Tax-Deductible Donations: Open doors to individual donors and foundations that require a nonprofit status.

  • Apply for Grants: Gain eligibility for a wider range of funding opportunities to fuel your growth.

  • Focus on the Work: We help handle the administrative and financial oversight, giving you the "breathing room" to build your programs and community presence.

Our Fiscal Sponsorships

These organizations serve as our region’s narrative anchors, united by a shared mission to reclaim and amplify the authentic voices of Central Appalachia.

By utilizing various creative mediums, from independent publishing and comics to traditional arts and historical preservation, they ensure that local stories are told by the people who live them.
