Here we are, over a year since the start of the COVID pandemic. The systems that oppress no longer hide below the surface. They have revealed themselves to the masses, even though there are still those who believe we do not have systemic issues.We know better and so do the grantee partners that are out there every day fighting the good fight to address the mess that we find ourselves in.In the first half of 2020, we awarded $67,850 to 87 organizations across the region. In the second half of the year, we were able to significantly increase our grantmaking to an additional $673,000 to organizations and individuals because of partnerships. $10,350 of that was in mutual aid support, which was in direct response the needs of our communities impacted by COVID.Here at ACF, we are grateful for the long history of our grantee partners and their work to support systemic change.We are also grateful for the steadfast commitment from donors that have supported this work.
