Join the TeamACF is looking to hire a part-time Technical Assistance Organizer to join our team. If you’re a savvy communicator passionate about supporting social change work in Central Appalachia, you might be the perfect fit for this role! This role will be integral to ACF’s objective of expanding our technical assistance offering to grantees.Responsibilities: This position will primarily work with ACF’s Grants Manager to maintain a steady communication stream with current and prospective grantee partners. Additionally, our Grants Associate will be trained on the internal systems and software related to our grantmaking to support applicants when called on.Grants Communications (50%)

  • Serve as a first line of contact with ACF’s grantee partners.
  • Work with the Grants Manager to maintain grant-related correspondence.
  • Assist with the development of communications and outreach materials related to ACF’s General Fund grantmaking and other opportunities as needed.

Grants Support (50%)

  • Support the maintenance of ACF’s grantmaking systems, standards, and processes under the direction of the Grants Manager.
  • Troubleshoot and guide applicants through ACF grantmaking systems as needed.
  • Co-develop a learning community for our grantee partners in partnership with the Grants Manager.

Hours and Pay: The individual contracted to fill this role can expect to be compensated at a rate of 20 per hour for approximately 15 hours of work weekly between March 2023 and March 2024. The total compensation for this work will be $15,000 for a one-year period.Experience Required: This position does not require experience in grantmaking or philanthropy.
