Rachel Carretta is currently counseling psychology doctoral student at the University of Tennessee.
She earned her B.A. in psychology and sexuality studies from the University of Michigan in 2015, and her M.A. in counseling psychology from the University of Tennessee in 2018.
Rachel’s research areas include stigma/discrimination, LGBQ mental health issues and factors affecting women’s psychological well-being.
She is excited to be joining the ACF team for her Social Justice Practicum and assisting in further developing ACF’s Out in Appalachia Project.
